#42 Request for additional formats (spikeextractors testing)

Hey all,

spikeextractors (https://github.com/spikeinterface/spikeextractors) now performs continuous integration testing of its supported formats using this very GIN repo. However, not all of the formats spikeextractors purports to support have available data on GIN, and we would love full coverage wherever possible.

Making this as a to-do list (will edit this to add and update over time):

Recordings

• Biocam [ ]
• Exdir [ ]
• CED [ ]

Sortings

• Neuroscope [ ]
• Alf [ ]
• CellExplorer [ ]

I would be happy to help as much as I can with this as per Issue #27 (fine with being added as contributor or whatever it takes).

Hi Cody, sorry for the delay, I have added you as a collaborator, so you should be able to create branches for new formats in this repository.

@cbaker9 Do you have datasets for any of the remaining formats available?

@sprenger I do not; there is one more dataset eventually to be added for CellExplorer (dataset_1 there is scipy loadable, we want to add a dataset_2 that is not and requires hdfstorage instead). I'll send that to you and Sam "soon"-ish
