Hello - I am also quite interested in contributing sample data to this dataset, and am eagerly awaiting detailed instructions on how best to do so.

Hi Cody, there is actually a proposed contribution guideline already here https://gin.g-node.org/NeuralEnsemble/ephy_testing_data/pulls/28 If you want you could be the first one to test and report if this is detailed enough or you find information lacking. Looking forward to your contribution :)

With #29 being implemented, also a new strategy for contributing files needs to be put into place, that is able to handle annexed content within PRs. For now the only possible solution I am aware of is to invite contributors as collaborators, so they can create a feature branch within this repository. This way the content would be automatically available also in the master branch.

I would be happy to discuss alternative ideas.
