It contains the following files:

• Atlas Plates of Phyllostomus discolor.pdf
Plates of the brain atlas provide high-resolution images of frontal sections alternately
stained for cell bodies (Nissl) and myelinated fibers (Gallyas) at 49 rostrocaudal levels
at intervals of 350 µm in stereotaxic coordinates derived from a CT scan.

• Atlas Plates of Phyllostomus discolor_RR.pdf
Version of the brain atlas plates at reduced resolution.

• Abbreviation Index of Phy-atlas.pdf
Index of abbreviations in alphabetical order

• Structure Index of Phy-atlas.pdf
Index of structures in alphabetical order

• SupplMat_NADPH_AChE_Nissl.pdf
High-resolution images of a series of Phyllostomus discolor brain sections. The 40 µm thick sections
are alternately stained for NADPH-diaphorase, Acetylcholine-esterase and Nissl. Sections are
uncorrected for shrinkage. Each set of 3 sections iterates at 160 µm anterior-posterior distance.
The series was cut at an angle slightly deviating from that of the atlas brain.
