#8 Gin web interface displays a remark about a repo not having a LICENSE file even though a LICENSE.txt exists

Licenses are sometimes in a file named LICENSE, but sometimes also LICENSE.txt or LICENSE.md or similar. Gin should use all common filenames to detect a missing license. Also, there seems no way to get rid of the message on the web interface that a license file is missing.

Hey Michael I fully agree

The warning is currently only visible to people that have write access to the repo (and not to the general public), so it should not be too bad. Its anyhow a temporary thing and will be abandoned for a less invasive licensing reminder policy very soon.

Thank you for reporting this back to us!

I think the issue should be resolved with a set of things i patched on Wednesday. Can we close it @denker?
