Bulk RNA-sequencing data of mouse suprachiasmatic nucleus and habenula at 4 different timepoints throughout the day in resilient, susceptible and stress-naive phenotypes following chronic social defeat stress. All the data, as well as the the description of the dataset, are available in the 'narain_et_al-2024-translational_psychiatry'. Description We provide bulk RNA transcriptome of suprachiasmatic nucleus and habenula at four distinct timepoints within a 24-hour cycle following exposure to chronic social defeat stress. The four timepoints are: ZT4 (1100 hrs), ZT10 (1700 hrs), ZT16 (2300 hrs), ZT22 (0500 hrs). The three sampled phenotypes are stress-resilient, stress-susceptible and stress-naive mice. Supporting behavioural data (social interaction and locmotion) is also available.
