  25. ## DataLad Datasets
  26. This repository is a [DataLad](https://www.datalad.org/) dataset. It provides
  27. fine-grained data access down to the level of individual files, and allows for
  28. tracking future updates. In order to use this repository for data retrieval,
  29. [DataLad](https://www.datalad.org/) is required. It is a free and
  30. open source command line tool, available for all major operating
  31. systems, and builds upon Git and [git-annex](https://git-annex.branchable.com/)
  32. to share, synchronize, and version control collections of large files.
  33. More information on DataLad and how to use it can be found in the DataLad
  34. Handbook at [handbook.datalad.org](http://handbook.datalad.org/en/latest/index.html).
  35. The chapter "DataLad Datasets" is especially helpful as an introduction to
  36. datasets.
