Data.csv
contains firing rates of units in V1 and dLGN as functions of contrast, orientation, frequency and phase, recorded by members of Laura Busse lab. To plot panels in Fig 3-5 download the folder Figures_3_4_5_Code_and_Data
and follow the steps below (Matlab). If you have any questions regarding code in this folder, contact Nataliya Kraynyukova.
The folder Extract_Data_for_Code_and_Figures
contains files to obtain population responses. Input is Data.csv
, output is data
folder. In Step1
folder, run Data_csv_to_mat.m
to convert Data.csv
to Data.mat
. In Step2
folder, run Average_Data_wrt_freq_phase.m
to compute average response of units w.r.t. frequency and phase and to save the result to folder Data_Av_wrt_freq_and_phase
. In Step3
folder, run Average_Data_wrt_units.m
to compute V1E, V1I and dLGN populations response as function of contrast and orientation and to save the result in folder data. The inferred SSN parameters are in folder Inference_Related_Tables
.
To plot Figure panels, use corresponding .m
file in the folder Panel_Plot_Related_Scripts
inside of each Figure folder.
