Data sets accompanying the paper by Schreyer and Gollisch, 2021: Nonlinear spatial integration in retinal bipolar cells shapes the encoding of artificial and natural stimuli.

The repository contains voltage traces of salamander retinal bipolar cells under stimulation with various light patterns, focusing on questions of spatial signal integration and encoding of natural stimuli. Furthermore, software code (in Matlab) for analyzing the stimulus-response relation is supplied.

The structure of the repository is explained in "Documentation_Data_BCRecordings.pdf". The file contains information about the format of the data files, the applied visual stimuli, and the supplied code for analysis.

If you plan to use this data for a publication, please inform us about it and don’t forget to cite the original paper (reference coming soon).
